On Thursday, September 5, 2019 all seven grade students of SMPIA 13 took a psychological test. The test started at 7.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. in the seven grade classrooms. Because taking this kind of test was new for most of seven grade students, most of them felt anxious and tense. Luckily, the anxiety and tense didn’t last long so that it did not intrude the testing process.
“I was nervous at first, but then as the time passed I can relax,” said Zekka, one of seven grade students. Other than seven grade students, there was also a transfer student of grade 8 who took the test.
The test consists of intelligence test and aptitude test. This test is aimed to identify students’ potential and interest. The result will be used as the basis for the appropriate approach in developing student potential, their academic and personality.
Students and their parents will be informed the result and will be invited to school to have a counseling session to discuss the result and future plan for students. This counseling session is expected to increase parent-school collaboration. (rdn/as/zh)
